Purpose

Ensure every smart-home platform is delivered on a network engineered for it, not on a consumer router.

All Smart Citizens residential and light-commercial deployments.

      Usually yes — most developer routers cannot host the VLAN, SSID, or PoE budget a smart home needs.

      Is Wi-Fi 7 required?

      No — Wi-Fi 6 is sufficient for most residential installs; Wi-Fi 6E adds value in dense multi-tower environments.
