    How it works

    1. AC types in the UAE

      Split, VRF/VRV, chilled-water FCU, and district cooling with in-suite FCUs are the four you'll meet.

    2. What a thermostat controls

      Fan speed, cooling call, sometimes the water valve or the compressor. Compatibility matters.

    3. Setback strategy

      Raising setpoint 2°C when the room is empty saves more than fancy scheduling.

    4. Humidity

      Below 60% RH the same setpoint feels 2°C cooler. Above 70% no setpoint feels comfortable.
