What is the difference between mesh Wi-Fi and enterprise Wi-Fi?
Mesh Wi-Fi uses wireless backhaul between consumer nodes — easy to install but slower and less reliable as devices grow. Enterprise Wi-Fi uses wired-backhauled access points managed by a controller with VLANs, band steering and fast roaming — the standard for smart homes with CCTV, audio and IoT.
Wi-Fi 6 vs Wi-Fi 7 — which one should I install in 2026?
Wi-Fi 6 / 6E is the current sweet spot for UAE villas: fast, mature, works with every device. Wi-Fi 7 delivers higher peak speeds and lower latency but is worthwhile only for very large villas, 8K streaming, VR and heavy multi-device households. We future-proof the cabling so you can upgrade APs later without re-pulling cables.
Do I need a router or an access point?
You need both. The router (or firewall gateway) connects your villa to Etisalat / du and manages security, VPN and VLANs. Access points broadcast Wi-Fi across the building. A single home router alone cannot cover a Dubai villa reliably.

Do you install CAT6 or CAT6A cabling?
Both. CAT6 is standard for most residential runs up to 55 m. CAT6A is used for backbone runs, high-density APs, 10G workstations and future-proofing new-build villas. We use fire-rated LSZH cabling and terminate every run to a labelled patch panel in the network cabinet.
Can you fix weak Wi-Fi signal in an existing villa?
Yes. We start with an on-site heat-map survey to map dead zones, then add access points, upgrade the router, add VLANs and — where required — pull additional CAT6 cabling. Most existing villas can be brought to full coverage without visible cable trunking.
